Watching The Jungle Book
It’s lat and I decided to watch Disney’s The Jungle Book tonight. Man oh man, what an awesome movie! I know some people will quip that it is not as dark as Rudyard Kipling’s book, but it’s a children’s movie and it’s pretty much awesometown. It has two of the best Disney songs in history in it and a skat battle. I mean, what else do you want? Kaa is voiced by Winnie-the-Pooh and there’s a Vulture barber shop quartet. (And that doesn’t even touch on those elephants that everyone loves.) This movie is amazing and in the end we learn the most valuable lesson in the first half of the Disney collection: that a man will leave his homies for a chick.
It’s a whole lot better than what’s on TBS, Code Name: The Cleaner. It’s the movie where Cedric the Entertainer has amnesia and forgets everything…except how to be ghetto!
