Music

Paul’s background in sound started with theatrical sound design and and as a comedic lyricist. A self-proclaimed amateur musician and “C minus talent that just tries to get it in post”, Paul’s musical career even began ripping other people off as he got his start singing in church and in gospel choir in his community. As a teenager trying to look cool, he barely learned how to play a guitar and eventually began live musical comedy performances before joining The June Apples, a bluegrass jug band, as a multi instrumentalist and vocalist. His career in composing primarily consists of parody songs and comedic tunes for plays and live sketch shows. Due to popular demand, he does not play live any more. As of the pandemic, one of his newest hobbies is music production. Check out samples of parody music, jingles and other silly bits!
